PUPPIES
Whether you are looking for a show puppy, a perfomance prospect or a family pet, all prospective homes must be approved. I am looking to place my puppies in loving homes with a safe environment. Ideally potential homes are with people at least experienced with dogs, if not Boston Terriers, and will make the safety and well-being of their puppy a priority. Generally I do not place young puppies in homes with children under the age of 5 years. This is for a number of reasons, but most importantly is the erratic and noisy behavior of babies and toddlers may cause a puppy to become fearful because they do not understand that the child’s actions are not necessarily directed against them. I have made exceptions to this policy, but not often. I require all puppies sold to non-show homes to be spayed or neutered at 6-12 months of age. This is to protect my bloodline from irresponsible breeding. It also helps minimize behavior issues related to sexual maturity, such as marking. Show puppies are sold on a co-ownership until the AKC championship is complete to prevent puppies from being re-sold. All my puppies are AKC registerable. Nearly all the sires and dams are AKC Champions. Puppies are made available to new homes after their initial health screening (8 weeks), first vaccination (9 weeks) and eye exam (CERF at 10 weeks). BAER testing for deafness is done whenever possible. Pet puppies are generally $1500. Show puppies start at $1800. NOTE: Because of my schedule I often cannot return phone calls or emails until the following weekend. If I have a dog show or trial that weekend it may be later than that! PUPPIES PUPPIES
